Neeraj Bhatia is an accomplished accounting professional with 30+ years expertise in international and domestic tax planning and compliance for startups and multinational entities. He is President of Bhatia & Co, Inc CPAs a premier accounting organization specializing in International tax, audit and review, accounting, compliance and reporting, immigration services, and corporate compliance with offices in California, and New Delhi, India. He is also Founder of Neeraj Bhatia & Co, Chartered Accountants in India. Their engagements in the US and India include cross border tax planning and transactions, M&A, corporate structuring, and complex Tax audits and representation including recent oversees disclosure programs (OVDP/OVDI/ Streamlined disclosure programs).
Neeraj is a licensed CPA in California, New York and Colorado and a CA in India. He is the shareholder of Bhatia & Co, Inc currently licensed to sign attest reports in New York and Colorado. He also has a LL.M. in International Taxation from the US, Costs and Works (Management) Accountancy, and a Bachelor (Honors) degree in Commerce from India.
In 2018, Neeraj was awarded the Hind Rattan Award (Jewel of India award) on the occasion of Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas in Bangkok by the NRI Welfare Society for keeping Flag of India high abroad. During his academic years as well Neeraj was awarded Gold Medal and scholarship for being a Top ranker in India nationwide.

He is Partner in-charge of the India office. He has extensive experience in Auditing – Statutory and Internal of Public Sector banks, Public and Private limited companies, non-profit entities and in Business and Individual taxation and in preparation of Financial Statement in adherence to statutory requirement, Compliance and filings regarding company law matter and taxation
He has done Bachelor’s degree in Economic (Hons) from University of Delhi and is practicing as a Chartered Accountant in India since 1989.

B.Com graduate from University of Karachi. L.L.B and actively working towards CPA license. His previous experience includes working as a Senior Accountant with a CPA firm in the Bay area where he handled full cycle accounting of tech start ups. He has also worked in the Banking sector in Pakistan as Assistant manger and Senior Auditor.
